to the Open Ear Center (OEC). The OEC specializes in educating healthcare
professionals and laypersons in the use of sound and music to facilitate
the healing process. Our techniques have proven effective in the
fields of health and education, and we continue to investigate new,
crosscultural applications internationally each year.
Here you will be introduced to the educational programs,
trainings,
workshops and
international intensives
offered by OEC. Our product page provides
select materials currently being used in health and educational
settings.
One of our core programs is the the Open
Ear Listening Program (OELP). We provide both the Tomatis
Method based programs and Listening Fitness Training Programs (LiFT) for auditory
stimulation and reeducation of the ear for adults and children.
You will also meet the center's founder
and director, Pat Moffitt
Cook, Ph.D., an international teacher, clinician, author and pioneer
in the use of crosscultural sound and music in heathcare and education.
