| |  Sound and music have been used successfully to intercept illness,through relaxation and stimulation, pain control and stress reduction, or emotional catharsis. The conscious use of music promotes physical and mental wellness, and connects us spiritually. In many cultures, different sounds play a primary role in the death and dying process. Through demonstrations, experiential practices and audio-visual illustrations, participants will be introduced to crosscultural healing music repertoires and select therapeutic techniques.
